Vegetable puffs are widely available in Indian bakeries and are cherished by many. The process can be cumbersome or simple, if you use readymade pastry dough.
Here is the simple version. Dice and saute onion and green chilli and turmeric mix with little bit of oil, salt and turmeric. You can add a little garam masala or any other spice powder.
Take pastry dough sheets, cut them to desired size. Smear some butter and put the veg mix and add little more spice powders such as red chilli powder and little salt if needed. Close with egg wash and bake.
