Soak little mungdal for about 30min.
In a pan, take oil, add mustard seeds, cumin, little onion and garlic(optional) Saute all above until onion garlic gets little brown.
Then add chopped palak and also salt, turmeric and saute that. Add the Soaked mungdal into it and keep lid. In between mix till the palak gets cooked.
