Coconut laddu is made in two ways. You can make with jaggery or sugar. Take grated coconut and keep aside. In a pan , heat jaggery with bit of water and then add coconut to it and cook till ready.
If using sugar, add both together and heat them together until they brought together to a consistency that you can make balls.
Cool and make balls. You can add cardamom powder as well, if you like, towards the end.
Rawa laddu is another sweet laddu where sooji is roasted and mixed with ghee and sugar and made into balls. You can again add cardamom powder and nuts if you like.
Dates Laddu is made of chopped dates and nuts together.
Mallijalu are made of chopped chapathi pieces , roasted again, and some ghee and sugar.
Nuvvundalu are made of jaggery syrup and sesame seeds. Another version is made when the dish is cooked for longer and harder balls are made.
